What campaigns are

Campaigns are promotional activities that can give eligible products, offers or marketplace content additional visibility. Campaigns can include featured products, hot deals, sponsored products, giveaways and other promotional placements. The exact campaign types, prices, dates and eligibility shown in the live seller interface are the source of truth for that campaign.

For sellers

  1. 1Open the available campaign or promotion flow from the seller area.
  2. 2Choose an eligible listing or promotional asset.
  3. 3Enter accurate product, offer, budget and campaign information.
  4. 4Review the campaign period, pricing and displayed terms before submitting.
  5. 5Monitor the campaign status and performance from the relevant seller area.
  6. 6Pause or update the promotion if the advertised product, price, stock or offer changes.

Campaign status

A campaign can move through administrative or operational states such as draft, submitted, active, paused, completed or otherwise unavailable depending on the campaign workflow. A campaign should not be treated as live merely because a seller has created a draft or submitted a request; the seller area should show the current status.

What buyers should know

When a product is presented through a promotional surface, buyers should still review the listing itself: product identity, condition, price, stock, seller information, delivery details and applicable marketplace protections. A campaign label is not a guarantee of product quality or transaction outcome.

Accurate campaign information

Campaign titles, product details, prices, discount claims, stock and dates must remain accurate. Misleading promotional claims can lead to campaign changes, removal or other marketplace action under the applicable policies.
